I love Karen Walker - so wearable! I’d ‘do’ every single one of these outfits (maybe except the balaclava look) and both jackets on the left are divine! When I was in Australia last it took all my willpower not to buy a pair of her exaggerated round sunglasses.

I used to love watching The Golden Girls when I lived with my sister. I’d get home from school at the same time as my nephews we’d fling ourselves on the couch to sing along to Thank You For Being a Friend, marvel at the peachy beige interiors and the silky robes worn at the midnight coffee sessions, and giggle at Sophia’s innuendo.

I also really like John Currin.  He was so much on my mind when I went to New York with Nicole that when we sat next to Poppy King in a cafe I thought it was Rachel Feinstein. There you go.

It’s about that time of year that I wish I had honey-coloured hair…

Oh yeah, and was french. I’m “adopted” British though so that’s the next best I can get my hands on right now…

I wish I looked like Jen in tight jeans and those boots. Instead I’m sitting in an XXL Hamnet slogan tee over leggings watching Nollywood shorts on Youtube.

Really enjoyed seeing these William English photographs exhibited at Maggs last week. William took several photographs of Vivienne Westwood in the Sex shop in early 1975 when he was a budding film student, eager to get into a London school. The idea backfired when he produced the portfolio, as the entrance examiners assumed he was only interested in making pornography.
