Sunday, February 8th, 2009It’s cold, Mr G is listening to Tom Waits upstairs, and I’m going to bake a cake to eat in an hour or so with a pot of tea.

If it’s any good I’ll take a photo.

Monday, February 2nd, 2009Looking out my back door
Monday, February 2nd, 2009I spoke to my bro in Australia today as it’s his birthday. He was sitting on the verandah about to have a beer and it was about 30 degrees celsius. I was chatting to him gazing out our back window at about a foot of snow and counting. Eight years of living here and it still freaks me out.
I’m deep in 1970 at the moment. Hence the Creedence. They have a special place in our family history and mythology so this is for my sister who loves John Fogarty and who I know reads this blog every day.
Two words about John: gap teeth.
